In the last week of February, Trendit China team visited Tehran Iran and Iranian payment market and were stunned by the beautiful scenery, historic resorts and a booming Iranian payment market.
Trendit team visited several leading payment service providers (PSPs) during the visit. Trendit team has exchanged lots of opinions with its counterpart and clients about the development of pos terminals, payment technology and Iranian payment market.
The PSPs in Iran provide the following services including: 1) buying goods and services; 2) cellphone recharges; 3) paying bills, etc., which are very essential to Iranian market. With a total active quantity of around 10million pcs pos devices and approximate 1million pcs increasing each year after Covid-19, the PSPs are quite confident about the payment development in Iran. They focus more on the future develop of Linux-OS and Android-OS based terminals. And they are looking for new payment solutions and innovations for the market. They spoke highly of the online payment development.
